“One of the best distillers I’ve ever been. They offer free samples and tasting. The high rye and their toasted oak are divine. So smooth. Also, the staffs are warm, friendly, and wonderful. Will come back for more if we pass Lexington again. Thanks!” – Y.G., 5 Star Google Review

This was a great distillery to visit while touring the Kentucky bourbon trail. If you really like the science of whiskey you’ll love those your specifically. Our guide (dude with long hair) was extremely science-y and got into all the details of how whiskey is made. Other tours focus on history but this one is great if you want to ask detailed questions about how it works. Whiskey is good, especially the rye. And the $6 bloody Mary’s were fantastic.” – J.F., 5 Star Google Review

“This was my husband and I first time visiting a distillery. We had a grand-o-time. Our tour guide guy was very informative, personable, and funny. We had a great group which made the experience even better. Three shots in, me, my husband, and the family next to us shared some good laughs throughout the 47 min tour. We purchased a couple of t-shirts and a bottle from the quaint gift shop at the end of tour. Friendly staff. We look forward to returning next year once they move.” – D.W., 5 Star Google Review

“My wife and I stopped here to check them out because they use blue corn. Although their regular high rye bourbon is wonderful, the blue corn was amazing, and unlike anything we’ve ever had before. We got to talk to the owner who was super friendly and explained everything about what they do, why they chose blue corn, and, why they use wheat. Cozy vibe inside with awesome folks behind the bar? Cannot recommend enough! Also, you needn’t feel left out if you enjoy rye whiskey. We tried their Midway rye whiskey finished in rum barrels and it was better than Angel’s Envy rye!” – B.T., 5 Star Google Review
