(destroyed by fire in 1924) has been resurrected by the team at Bluegrass Distillers. We are proud to honor our new distillery’s home of Midway, KY and to share the experimental whiskeys and finishes that we have created and love under the Midway Distilling Co. brand.

Summary
Rather than retiring a used barrel, we have them re-coopered and fired. We then refill these mature workhorses with spirit previously aged in new barrels to impart a nuanced secondary finish.
